Paul and Iva live in an apartment in North Perth which they wanted to upgrade with decking on their balconies but didn’t know if it could work because of the low clearance issue. We had the solution for them – use composite decking. It is unaffected by this issue and if you leave enough clearance (50mm) to allow for drainage and ventilation there will be no problems.
